ABOUT US

LCC MISSION

To teach couples and individuals how to manage the resources entrusted to them by God in a way that glorifies God and brings joy, peace and contentment to the family.

STATEMENT OF FAITH

That there is one God, manifest in three persons, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

That Jesus is the begotten Son of God, was born of a virgin, is wholly God and wholly man, lived a sinless life, died as a substitutionary sacrifice for the sins of mankind, was buried, arose from the grave and ascended into Heaven.

That Jesus will make a literal, bodily return to earth.

That the Bible is the Word of God without any error, the sole authority for life.

That man is a special creation of God, made in His image.

That mankind fell through the sin of the first man, Adam, and that all men are sinners in need of salvation.

That salvation is a gift of grace from God, received through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

That every person who truly is saved is eternally secure in the Lord Jesus Christ.

That those persons who die without faith in Jesus Christ spend eternity in Hell and those persons who die with their sins forgiven, through faith in Christ, spend eternity in Heaven.

LCC HISTORY

LifeChange Concepts (LCC) was initiated in the state of Florida in 1999 and was granted non-profit 501(c)(3) status by the Internal Revenue Service. The ministry founder and president, Ray Lynch, began to counsel individuals and couples from his home office in September of 1999.

LCC is consistent with God’s call to be a faith-based ministry, supported primarily by families helped by the ministry. Therefore, LCC only charges a modest fee for the materials used in counseling.

In 2000, Ray wrote and published the “Budgeting For The Non-Accountant” workbook that is used in the one-on-one counseling and stewardship courses taught at churches. To date, more than 1,000 workbooks have been sold and distributed to people seeking God’s word on finances.

In 2001, a Christian businessman provided LCC with a free counseling office, which allowed the ministry to expand its hours for counseling and increase the number of counselees by 19 percent. LCC remained at this office until Mayof2005. Founder Ray Lynch also appeared on the Herman and Sharon television program to promote LCC and the “Budgeting For The Non-Accountant” workbook.

In 2002 LCC replaced the day-long stewardship seminars with the eight week Growing Financial Stewards God’s Way (GFSGW) class in order to provide a more in-depth study of Biblical financial stewardship. In addition, Ray was certified as a credit counselor, allowing him to provide qualified credit counseling to his clients. From 2002 through 2004 the ministry continued to help many families through its counseling and teaching. In 2003 LCC teamed up with the Bay Life Church by providing counseling through their Counseling Center 3-4 days each month.

In 2005, LCC started to offer its 10-hour Volunteer Counselor Training Class in order to equip Christians to provide lay financial counseling under the authority of their church. This class is offered to those individuals who have successfully completed the GFSGW class and have expressed a desire to help fellow church members in need of Christian financial counsel. The first class of six volunteer lay counselors graduated in August of 2005.

In March 2006, to meet the growing needs of the ministry, we moved into a larger office space. Our new office location is at 4905 Van Dyke Rd., Suite 16, Lutz, FL 33558.
